I'm not usually a fan of resort collections, but Mary-Kate and Ashley Olsen's take on Venetian seaside dressing has got me hooked. Sticking to their trademark understated minimalism, the twins mixed things up by adding a 1940s twist in the form of boater hats, stripes and dainty brogues. From the striped mink cardigan coat to the endless amounts of crisp white cotton, these girls got Resort 2012 spot on.

Little Lift

After living in my very battered Swedish Hasbeens and Alexander Wang booties for the most part of spring, the hunt was on for some new summer sandals. Despite a detour to Dover Street Market - where I was confronted by ten incredible pairs I barely dared to pick up, let alone pay for - I quickly stumbled upon these KG by Kurt Geiger sandals in the Liberty sale. Love the white leather with contrasting grey, wooden wedge - perfect for toughening up floaty maxi dresses.

Peep: Fuschia's Fete

Yesterday saw London showered with sunshine - and I spent a blissful afternoon sipping Pimms, nibbling on BBQ food and browsing AW11 collections at the Fuschia summer fete. Nestled in a secret garden just off Shaftesbury Avenue, the lovely PR ladies couldn't have chosen a better location to show off their clients new season stock. In between hooking ducks (my friend won a pair of Native shoes!) and chatting on a picnic blanket under the trees, I had time to oogle at the offerings from Sugarhill Boutique and Vintage by Fé. Gorgeous stuff.
