I can't get the Céline Resort 2012 collection out of my head. As much as I try to resist, oversized pilgrim belts, floral leather, white suiting pieces and jacquard florals refuse to be shifted from my daydreams. Ms. Philo has created yet another collection that is not only perfectly tailored and timeless, but also incorporates many of the season's top trends. I fear that my imagination won't rest until a) I am miraculously able to afford such pieces or b) I miraculously find near to exact replicas in a charity chop. Humpf.

I'm not usually a fan of resort collections, but Mary-Kate and Ashley Olsen's take on Venetian seaside dressing has got me hooked. Sticking to their trademark understated minimalism, the twins mixed things up by adding a 1940s twist in the form of boater hats, stripes and dainty brogues. From the striped mink cardigan coat to the endless amounts of crisp white cotton, these girls got Resort 2012 spot on.
